POP-UP
MONOKIOSK, is a modular public interface of the campaign. Designed as a reconfigurable system of adjustable form-factor the kiosk can be specified
in its scale and layout according to the site, event or even weather conditions. The modular architecture of the pop-up structure reflects the broader idea
of MONOLITALIA as a structure that can
be mobile, adjustable and reshaped into contemporary public life.
The pop-up gives the campaign a physical presence beyond the screen. It creates
a space where people who already encountered Monolitalia through posters/ Instagram/ or the website can continue their exploration, while also reaching accidental passers-by who may not actively seek out architecture-related content online.

the pop-up operates as a temporary library or a reading room, holding
a media installation, and becoming
a meeting place. It brings together campaign zine publications, selected books, locally specific stories,
moving-image content, and opportunities to discover endangered or overlooked sites of italian brutalism in the surrounding region of the pop-up.
The aim is not to persuade every visitor
to fall in love with Italian Brutalism,
but to make it more known, accessible and discussable.
The central installation is reconfigured for each host region – A group of analogue television sets broadcasts short, first-person narratives about local Brutalist buildings. This format shifts the campaign away from the detached consumption of architectural images. installation allows the archiecture to be encountered through voices and conflicts connected to a specific place. In Rome, for example, the content could focus on the Ponti della Laurentina, whose future makes the question of heritage immediate
